17a’s Head of Innovation, designing and running the internal systems that are powering 17a's growth.

Gabrielle Rudd

What are you currently working on?
Two projects that I am involved in and really excited about are, revamping our website, and creating a 17a video that discusses why the work we do is so important!

What are you listening to?
Two podcast that I frequently listen to are “Reply All," which is an exploration of modern life, technology and how to survive it, and “Revisionist History”, which is Malcolm Gladwell's journey through the overlooked and the misunderstood. Every episode re-examines something from the past—an event, a person, an idea, even a song—and asks whether we got it right the first time.

What are reading or what have you read recently that you love?
I am reading "The Happiness Advantage" by Shawn Anchor and I just finished "The Last Black Unicorn" by Tiffany Haddish.

What is your tagline for 2019?
"It’s grind time prime time!"

What new innovation or org have you heard about working in this space that excites you? is a non profit branch of Ideo that is focused on designing products, services, and experiences to improve the lives of people in poor and vulnerable communities.

Who would you most like to switch places with for a day?
Ellen DeGeneres.
