Associate/Finance Lead, Power Authority Project

Lead the development of tools for the leadership team of a major state power authority to evaluate new investments and novel initiatives for the future.

  • Work directly with leadership of a forward thinking state power authority and other partners, as well as the 17a core team, on the development of ‘leave behind’ analytical tools (i.e., excel mini model, set of metrics) for leadership to use over time for driven analysis of novel investment decisions.

  • Core responsibilities include leading the design and development of the a cash flow ‘mini model’ (40-50 line model for 80/20 view) and key metrics for investment decisions - may also including related development of other ROI-type tools for standard analysis across opportunities.

  • Must be excited about working as part of a broader team, and thinking creatively about designing simple, effective tools to meet the needs of leadership of the state power authority.


  • Immediate start, as possible. Potential ‘quick start’ bonus.

  • Full time, 5 weeks.

  • Travel to a major US city 2-3 times, or more as possible/interested
